Vineet MishrA, M.D. - Middle Tennessee

Dr. Vineet Mishra is the founder of Restoration Dermatology and a board certified dermatologist, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and cosmetic dermatologist, and board certified venous disease specialist who was born and raised in Nashville. He graduated from Vanderbilt University summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience. He completed his medical education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, internship at Emory University, dermatology residency at the University of Alabama – Birmingham, and procedural dermatology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California. From 2013 until 2018, he was Associate Professor of Dermatology and Director of Mohs and Procedural Dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. His professional interests and expertise include Mohs surgery, laser medicine, cosmetic dermatology, and venous disease.

When not at work, Dr. Mishra enjoys hiking, Orangetheory, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.

Cara Hennings, M.D. - East Tennessee

Cara Hennings, MD, FAAD, grew up in Indiana and graduated from Purdue University. She went to Indiana University for medical school and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She then completed her dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University and was chief resident. Dr. Hennings obtained board certification through the American Board of Dermatology. She has been practicing in Chattanooga since 2012 and recently opened a new private practice called Four Bridges Dermatology and Cosmetics.

As a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Hennings has published articles in several medical journals and is an author of a book chapter in Fitzpatrick Dermatology, 9e. Dr. Hennings specializes in general medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jacob, a local emergency physician, and their two girls. She loves to travel, play golf, and boating.

Megan Morrison, D.O. - Middle tennessee

Dr. Morrison is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of West Florida in 2006, and received her Doctorate in Osteopathy from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010.

Dr. Morrison completed her residency in Dermatology and Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital- Michigan State University. Dr. Morrison has published many journal articles, is a guest editor for a few dermatology journals and has coauthored multiple book chapters in the dermatologic literature. She is presently Secretary/Treasurer of the Tennessee Dermatologic Society and is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.  Dr. Morrison is also trained in aesthetic dermatology, with extensive training in mid face rejuvenation using toxins and fillers. She opened Harpeth Valley Dermatology in 2020 with offices in Smyrna, Thompson’s Station and Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

When not working Dr. Morrison enjoys hiking and camping with her husband, daughter, son and 2 dogs, as well as photography.

Allison Jones, M.D. - West Tennessee

Allison Jones, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general dermatology in an academic setting at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Jones grew up in Mississippi, obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Mississippi State University in 2008 and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi in 2013. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Subsequently, she completed a dermatology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2017. She joined the Kaplan Amonette Department of Dermatology in 2017 and currently serves as the Dermatology Residency Program Director. Dr. Jones specializes in complex medical dermatology with a specific interest in transplant dermatology, skin manifestations of rheumatologic conditions, hidradenitis and cutaneous T cell lymphoma.  

 

Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her husband, Parker, and two children, Landon and Lizzie. One of her favorite hobbies is playing tennis.
